Set against the timeless beauty of Ravello, this intimate destination wedding brought together romance, family and the unmistakable charm of the Amalfi Coast. The celebration was especially meaningful for the couple, who chose to combine a civil and religious wedding ceremony, creating a day that honored both their love story and their family.
Their daughters played a central role throughout the celebration, making the day even more personal and emotional. With one of their little girls only a few months old, the wedding unfolded at a gentle, intimate pace, allowing plenty of space for precious family moments alongside the formal celebrations.
The design took inspiration from sorbet colors – soft peach, delicate pink, lavender, and touches of blue – creating a palette that felt fresh, joyful and perfectly at home against Ravello’s lush gardens and Mediterranean landscape. Rather than feeling overly sweet, the pastel tones were balanced with antique-inspired details, warm gold accents, natural textures, and abundant seasonal flowers, giving the overall aesthetic a refined and romantic character.
At the Church of San Giovanni del Toro, the ceremony setting was adorned with overflowing floral baskets and delicate arrangements in the sorbet-inspired palette. A white aisle and traditional kneeler created a simple, elegant backdrop for the emotional ceremony.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds explored Ravello for portraits, moving between the romantic architecture of Villa Rufolo, the charming streets of the historic center, and the gardens of the iconic Belmond Hotel Caruso. The changing scenery offered a beautiful contrast to the intimate moments shared between the couple and their daughters, from quiet portraits to spontaneous family interactions.
The reception was deliberately intimate, with a beautifully dressed table overlooking the sea at the Herbs Garden. A meadow-inspired floral runner stretched along the table, accompanied by peach and blue candles, antique-pink napkins, gold cutlery, and crystal glassware with delicate gold edging. The result was elegant but relaxed: a table designed not only to look beautiful but to create an atmosphere where the family could simply slow down and enjoy the evening together.
A celebration of love, family, and the quiet beauty of an Italian summer on the Amalfi Coast.
