A romantic, intimate Amalfi Coast destination wedding at Villa Eva
This gorgeous Ravello villa wedding has been featured on Ruffled.
Yuliya and Clemente are a passionate couple that was formed at school, when they took the same bus for coming back home. Seven years have passed since they exchanged the first timid glances, and their love is grown with them. Both have been more than happy to celebrate their bond with a photography session in the lush Mediterranean summer.
Set in a refined historic villa in the heart of Ravello, in Italy, among bloomy gardens and breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast, this elopement in warm and creamy tones has been inspired by the world of Dolce Vita, and by the beauteous atmosphere of the place.
Planning a destination wedding on the Amalfi Coast starting from zero
Monica from Amalfi Soirée has ventured into this exciting game of contrasts, creating an inviting table for two on the panoramic belvedere of Villa Eva, in the shadow of two large secular trees. The few spaces have been harmoniously decorated with glasses with intricate geometric patterns, hand-dyed napkins by the stylist in a lovely cappuccino shade and pretty gold cutlery next to fruity crystal bowls and candles in a modern style, as well as plates in delicate ceramics.
A sumptuous bouquet of white peonies, dalhias, roses and pink lisianthus enriched with berries and feathers grass by Kuts Flowers, and wrapped in a beautiful taupe silk ribbon by Silk Ribbon by Florentes, completed the scene, while seasonal fruits and petals randomly distributed on the soft white tablecloth, added a local and familiar touch.
For a graceful look, torn between modernism and vintage, Kamelia Andrioti has created an impressive dress with a bodice in precious glitter tulle and embossed floral embroidery. The puffy sleeves of the gown, which left uncovered the shoulders and the back, added a romantic note, and so also the lace shoes with milky teardrop stones and beads from Bella Belle Shoes.
The 18 kt gold ring with oval moissanite and side diamonds has been forged in simple lines and with a retro flavor by Taya Gioielli while Lindsay Marie Design provided a pair of mother-of-pearl earrings with Swarovski and Preciosa pearls that recall the patterns of the bridal dress.
Clemente wore a classic black suit from Boutique Aiello Agerola.
The sober elegance of the wedding theme has been translated by Isabella and Annalisa from Beauty Livery in a light and bright make-up, and in a very natural half-tied hairstyle that highlighted Yuliya’s Caucasian features.
Lettering by Grg has designed a delightful wedding suite using a gorgeous calligraphic font imprinted with gold ink on white and sage handmade papers. The internal label, inspired by the paitings of the Flemish painters of the seventeenth century, completed the work with an unexpected, wonderful detail.
Finally, while the sun set over the maritime town in a triumph of pastel colors, Alice Ahn has accompanied the young couple in a walk in Villa Rufolo, capturing their loving glances in intimate, fascinating and light-filled images.
