Perched above the Mediterranean, Ravello is a place of dramatic cliffs, ancient stone, and gardens scented with citrus – and for this intimate destination wedding, every one of those elements became part of the celebration.
Set within a private villa in Ravello with its own access to the sea, the wedding unfolded between the rocky coastline and the lush lemon terraces of the property. The couple exchanged their vows on a secluded beach, surrounded by towering cliffs, the sound of the waves, and an organic floral installation designed to feel as though it had grown naturally from the landscape.
The ceremony florals combined delicate blush and ivory roses with seasonal blooms, lush greenery, and abundant pampas grass. The soft, romantic palette complemented the raw beauty of the coast, creating a setting that felt effortlessly elegant rather than overly styled. Against the dark rocks and endless blue of the Mediterranean, the bride and groom’s first kiss felt like a scene from an Italian film.
After the ceremony, an al fresco dinner was served beneath the lemon trees.
Here, the atmosphere transformed as the sun began to disappear behind the cliffs. Suspended from the branches of the lemon grove, dozens of delicate glass globes filled with warm candlelight created a magical canopy above the long dinner table. Their reflections flickered among the leaves, adding an intimate glow to the evening and turning the garden into an enchanting open-air dining room.
The tablescape continued the natural, romantic aesthetic of the day. Low, abundant floral arrangements combined ivory and blush roses with warm caramel tones, wild greenery and soft, textural pampas grass. Rather than creating a wedding that felt overly formal, the couple wanted their guests to experience the relaxed beauty of an Italian summer evening: long dinners, good food, candlelight and laughts around one table while enjoying the beauty of the landscape, the warmth of Italian hospitality and the magic of gathering.
