An intimate Ravello wedding filled with lush florals, timeless music and the beauty of the Amalfi Coast
Set among the gardens of Palazzo Avino in Ravello, this intimate celebration brought together elegant Italian details, lush florals, live music and a relaxed sense of romance.
The celebration took place in Ravello where the bride and her bridal party began getting ready, surrounded by the quiet excitement of the morning. Soft beauty details, final touches and portraits transformed the suite into the beginning of the wedding story.
The floral design was intentionally lush and garden-inspired. Personal flowers included the bridal bouquet and groom’s boutonniere, while the ceremony was framed by a semicircle of floral bushes and individual arrangements lining the aisle. The welcome sign was also adorned with flowers, creating a beautiful transition from the gardens into the ceremony setting.
The bride and groom shared a first look in the gardens of Palazzo Avino before taking portraits together around the historic center of Ravello. With the Amalfi Coast as their backdrop, these quiet moments offered a chance to step away from the anticipation of the ceremony and simply enjoy being together before the celebrations began.
For the ceremony, a string trio provided the live musical accompaniment, beginning with a romantic selection of songs as guests arrived and took their seats.
The groom entered to “The Scientist” by Coldplay, followed by the bride’s entrance to “Birds of a Feather” by Billie Eilish. Their symbolic ceremony unfolded against the panoramic beauty of Ravello, with music accompanying the vows and exchange of rings.
After the ceremony, guests gathered for cocktails in the sea view garden, enjoying Martini Espresso and Limoncello Spritz alongside an abundant selection of Italian-inspired canapés. Veal meatballs in Neapolitan ragù, tempura prawns, caprese, ricotta and lemon bigne, stuffed courgette flowers and several vegetarian and vegan creations made the cocktail hour as much about the food as it was about gathering together.
The dinner reception was served at Rossellinis Restaurant. The tablescape combined Ladurée-inspired linens and napkins with elegant glassware featuring gold rims, colored tumblers, handmade paper menus and personalized ribbons. Peach and light blue candles added warmth to the table, while meadow-effect floral bushes created the impression of a wild, abundant garden growing through the center of the dinner.
The menu continued the Italian-inspired experience with lightly cooked scallops served with their coral sauce, asparagus cream and goat cheese, followed by citrus risotto with red snapper and wild fennel. The main course paired lamb with spinach, Jerusalem artichoke cream and onion cooked under salt. Dessert was a delicate lemon balm Catalan cream with candied lemon and buffalo kefir cheese ice cream, followed by petits fours.
The evening also included heartfelt speeches from the guests, adding another layer of intimacy to the dinner, with photographs capturing the reactions, laughter and emotion as the evening unfolded.
The celebration continued with live music, dancing and an open bar, bringing an energetic close to an intimate day.
