GIARDINI PRINCIPESSA DI PIEMONTE
“Princessa di Piemonte” Belvedere Terrace is a beautiful open space in the historic center of the town. They look like a panoramic flowery garden overlooking the sea, surrounded by historic buildings.
Located on top of a promontory that offers enchanting views of the Mediterranean and the coast below, Villa Cimbrone is included in the World Heritage List by UNESCO. Famous are its gardens and the epic Terrace of Infinity.
BASILICA DI S.EUSTACHIO
The ruins of the Basilica di Sant’Eustachio is located in Scala, not far from Ravello. It is located in a suggestive position, overlooking the sea. It presents a classic style contaminated by elements of the Spanish and African Islamic world.
DUOMO S.MARIA ASSUNTA
The Duomo or Basilica di Santa Maria Assunta e San Pantaleone is the main Catholic place of worship in Ravello. Built during the 11th century by the first bishop of the city, Orso Papicio, it is recognized as National Monuments. The facade has a mixed character of Romanesque elements and later elements.
CHIESA S.GIOVANNI DEL TORO
The Chiesa di S. Giovanni del Toro is the church where the nobility of medieval Ravello used to meet, in the historical center of the town. Built between 975 and 1018 it has a very essential, almost raw style, which enhances the spirituality of the place.
