Lemon Invitations

Introduce your lemon-inspired wedding theme with your invitations. An attractive design is a good way to intrigue guests and get them excited about your wedding in Italy. Decorate the couple monogram with flowers and lemons or use a citrus-shaped seal for the wax.

Isn’t it enough? Our wedding stationery department reveals one little secret of them: spray the ribbon of the invitation with essential oil of bergamot or orange blossom. Then, use it for wrapping the paper pieces or closing the envelope: the entire wedding suite will have an amazing scent and charme the senses of your guests.

Citrus Bridal Bouquet

Choose a color palette that includes bright and cheerful colors for your wedding bouquet, such as pastel yellow, soft orange and cream. For an even more local touch, add delicate blue delphiunium that recall the color of the sea and add a bit of unpredictability to the floral arrangements.

Citrus Welcome Bag

Welcome your guests to the Amalfi Coast with a nice basket of fresh fruit, artisan candies (the renowned “pastiglie Leone” have a vintage look that you will love), a mini bottle of San Pellegrino or limoncello and the unmissable wicker hat.

Fruit cart

Say goodbye to the classic food station! In Italy you can have a nice fruit cart. Guests can grab and eat whatever they want as if it were a truly unique buffet. The view and the goodness of the food will do the rest!

Citrus Sorbet or Gelato

If the fruit cart is an idea that appeal vegans and health-conscious people, those with a sweet tooth, instead, will love having a cart of ice cream or homemade granita! These products are the flagship of Made in Italy so you can expect delights out of this world! Select the signature tastes for the bride and for the groom from a hundred options: from the traditional hazelnut or stracciatella to the most unexpected flavors such as lemon cheesecake or ricotta and pear.

Signature Cocktail

Draw up with your barman the drink that will take your names and to be served during the cocktail hour or the after dinner, or opt for a drink inspired by the coast that already exists. My favourite? Limoncello Spritz, created by the barman Antonio Anastasio and made with limoncello produced only from Amalfi IGP lemons, Prosecco Doc, Soda, ice, half a slice of lemon and mint leaves. This cocktail, with its intense and nuanced yellow color, is a fresh and aromatic variant of the classic Spritz and enhances its Mediterranean flavor.

Limoncello Wall

You may have already heard of Prosecco Wall, but what do you think of a Limoncello Wall? While a Prosecco Wall is great for the first phase of the party, i.e. the cocktail hour, we recommend to introduce your guests to the Limoncello Wall after the dinner. Limoncello, which must be rigorously handmade, in fact, has great digestive properties: Italians drink it as a “ammazza-caffé”, that is at the end of the meal, after the coffee.

Do you want to make your own limoncello?

Here the original Limoncello recipe:

Wash 10 lemons and peel lemons with a potato peeler to use only the peel without the white (which is bitter).

Take a 2 lt. container and pour 700 cl of alcohol at least at 90°, the lemon peels, and leave to rest for a month in the sun and a dry place.
After the month of rest, take the jug back. You will see that the alcohol will have turned yellow.

Put 1 liter of water and 600 gr of sugar in a small one and heat on the flame without boiling. As the syrup warms up it will thicken, it is normal, turn it so that it does not become brown.
Let the sugar syrup cool down, then pour the alcohol into the jug and add another 300 cl of alcohol.

After another month of rest, take the jug, filter the alcohol (you can use a cotton cloth or a colander) to remove the lemon peel.

Bottle the Limoncello obtained and store in the fridge or freezer.

Foliage confetti

In addition to being an environmentally friendly solution, the foliage confetti are an original substitute for the paper ones. Ask your florist to prepare cones or little silk bags with olive leaves or rose petals to distribute to your guests for the auspicious toss after the ceremony.

Citrus Wreath and Runner

Is it possible to use fruit for your wedding floral arrangements? Of course yes, indeed it is something to do absolutely if you are planning an Amalfi Coast wedding. Citrus can be used as decorations, as they are or cut in half. As a plus, they spread a pleasant aroma throughout the venue. Use them for wreaths, centerpieces, and even for your arch. With greenery only, they create a rustic and chic atmosphere while you save money.

Lemon Place Cards

If you are looking for a gorgeous place card, lemons calligraphed with the guests’ name are for you! Simple but impactful, these place cards make everyone feels loved and appreciated: after all, they have a lemon all to themselves with their name on it!

Paper goods

The day-of paper pieces are the design element that best lends itself to being personalized: use it for communicating the mood you have in mind. I’m not just talking about menus and seating plans: a fan painted with an Italian landscape, for example, will easily turn into an beautiful souvenir to bring home, and will remind your loved ones of your amazing wedding wekend in Italy.

Wedding Menu

During your wedding dinner you can’t not include at least an Italian recipe whose main ingredient is the star of the Amalfi Coast: the lemon. Ask your caterer which is the local dish they recommend the most and made with the famous yellow fruit. Any ideas to tickle your curiosity (and maybe your appetite)? Citrus risotto, scamorza on lemon leaf, lemon sea bass!

Wedding Favors

A bottle of local limoncello or a set of hand-painted Vietri ceramic limoncello glasses are the perfect wedding favor. In addition to being something characteristic of the area, they have the advantage of being easily transportable, so your guests can put them in their luggage on the journey home.

Fruit Wedding Cake

The cake cutting is one of the most exciting moment of the day and you will surely want to end such a special day in style. Give your friends and families an experience that is coherentwith the wedding theme until the end and opt for a traditional local cake: the “Delizia al Limone”, a soft sponge cake with an intense lemon cream and whipped cream. Buon appetito!
